Ҵý Virtual Concert Schedule for April 6-10 Features Beethoven

It’s Beethoven Week! The Ҵý is sharing an online showcase of student and faculty talent performing selections from composer Ludwig von Beethoven on the Institute’s through archival video recordings of some of its best ensemble, opera and solo performances.

New performances premiere weekly every Monday and Wednesday at 6pm and Friday at 12:30pm.

MONDAY, April 6, 6pm

Almas Quartet

  • Mélisse Brunet, guest conductor

BEETHOVEN Symphony No. 3 in E-flat Major, Op. 55 “Eroica”

Original performance date: September 14, 2018

 

FRIDAY, APRIL 10, 12:30pm

Performers:

  • James Thompson, violin
  • Jonathan Mak, piano

Repertoire:

BEETHOVEN Violin Sonata No. 9 in A Major, Op. 47 “Kreutzer”

Original performance date: January 16, 2019
